Yo! This is my blog; all images posted are created by me, unless otherwise specified. Enjoy!

I finally finished one! I do these when I can’t think of anything to draw and I don’t wanna do drawing from life. Obsessive mark making: it’s kinda my thing.
A field! With all kinds of cool stuff to look at! Just an ink sketch.
Phrase a day #8! Every mark is a matter of fact.

This has already done the rounds, but I’m mesmerised by this brush so had to post: “All you down strokes are thick, all you up strokes are thin…snap to the right, up thin.”

Mesmerizing.

Some more life painting sketches. All of these are between ten to twenty minutes. On the third page I found myself getting restless; I started switching back and forth between the two on either side, hence the gradation from the middle.

Phrase a day #7! ‘Maybe, the world could look like this forever?’ And a sketch I have been putting off. A melancholic raccoon; beauty can be found anywhere, if you look.

morgzillas asked: When you find this in your ask you have to share 5 random facts about you and pass this on to your ten favorite followers ♥

Oh hai!
I had no idea I had messages! Well this sounds fun, so just quick:

i. I always laugh hardest at cat jokes.

ii. I have chunks of metal in my skull.

iii. I am a ginger but I love the sunshine.

iv. I was born on the same day as both Goya and Vincent van Gogh (who was also a ginger).

v. I am a life model, but posting art on the internet makes me feel far more naked than posing nude in front of a bunch of students.

Phrase a day #5 & #6; ‘NeverNotWorking’ and ‘Playing catch up.’ Because now I am caught up, but work continues… because there is always work to be done, which is far better than the opposite.

A foot study in acrylic, ten minutes. I like being demanding with my sketch books, they put up with a lot!
A life drawing pen sketch! One of my favourites of the night.
Phrase a day #5 ‘I get used to it.’  I decided to do a little illustration instead of floating letters. A sad bird!
If you think it’s good, it might actually be good! A discussion I had with a friend recently regarding self-confidence towards personal art. Catching up with my phrase a day posts! #4
Phrase a day#3 — Finished but not posted (til now!) Gotta spend more time on these… It’s all you! Go forth and find adventure!
#phraseaday 2! Some of my favourite #advice! Show up; get face time. (like to the #2014 #illustrationgradshow)
Yep! As good of time to start as any.
